TI Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments was established in 1951 and is a multinational corporation located in Dallas, Texas, USA. It is renowned for developing, manufacturing, and selling semiconductor and computer technologies, mainly engaged in research, manufacturing, and sales of digital signal processing and analog circuits. Texas Instruments Computer refers to a computer produced and manufactured by Texas Instruments Corporation. It was formed by the Geophysical Service Incorporated (GSI) as a whole. This company initially produced equipment related to earthquake industry and defense electronics.

TI began researching transistors in the early 1950s and also manufactured the world's first commercial silicon transistor. In 1954, TI developed and manufactured the first transistor radio, and in 1958, Jack Kilby, who worked in TI's new research laboratory, invented integrated circuits. In 1961, TI manufactured the first integrated circuit computer for the US Air Force. In the late 1950s, TI began researching infrared technology, and subsequently ventured into manufacturing radar systems, navigation, and control systems for missiles and bombs. The world's first portable calculator was invented by TI in 1967 in 1970. In order to transform household appliances, consumer electronics, and industrial equipment, TI launched the first single-chip microcontroller (MCU), which combines all computing components on a single silicon chip. TI engineers also invented a single-chip speech synthesizer, which made its debut on TI's "Speak&Spell" toy. In 1980, TI launched its first commercial single-chip digital signal processor (DSP) and produced a microcontroller for high-speed digital signal processing. Five years later, TI invented the digital micro mirror device (also known as DLP) ® Chip, which is DLP technology (awarded the 1998 Emmy Award) and DLP Cinema ® (Received an Oscar in 2009) ®  The Science and Engineering Award has laid the foundation for its repeated awards. In the 1990s, the introduction of TI MSP430? MCU took embedded processing to a new level, providing advantages such as low cost and efficient design. In addition, TI has launched the first application processor specifically designed for mobile phones (OMAP). In 1990, TI took the lead in the graphics calculator industry with its TI-81 and launched FLASH in 1999 ™– TI-83 for ROM memory. In 2000s, TI will focus its development on simulation and embedded processing technology, producing semiconductor technologies that support multiple applications. In 2007, the first single chip digital mobile phone solution (LoCosto) series was released, further popularizing mobile phone technology and making it more intelligent by adding mobile phone features. In 2009, the Dallas Kilby Laboratory officially opened, driving innovation in TI and creating an environment for our engineers to rapidly develop breakthrough and emerging technologies. In 2011, TI acquired National Semiconductor Corporation, laying the foundation for the next generation of signal processing technology.
