In addition, there are some digital tubes with more segments, such as fourteen or sixteen segment digital tubes, which can display more complex characters and graphics.

Classification:

LED digital tubes can be classified based on the following aspects:

Single digital tube and multi digital tube: A single digital tube has only one digital display area, while a multi digital tube contains multiple independent digital display areas.

Common anode and common cathode: The anodes of all LEDs in a common anode digital tube are connected together, while the cathodes of all LEDs in a common cathode digital tube are connected together. This means that in a common anode digital tube, the common anode needs to be connected to a high level, while each segment needs to be connected to a low level to emit light; In a common cathode digital tube, the common cathode needs to be connected to a low level, while each segment needs to be connected to a high level to emit light.

Static driving and dynamic driving: Static driving means that each segment of each digital tube is directly connected to the driving circuit, while dynamic driving sequentially lights up each segment of each digital tube through time division multiplexing.
